Interaction design for a planning tool

These two mock-ups describe the basic user interaction (and layout) of a planning tool for tasks. The planning tool works with a data-model that describes on one side a collection of Entities that can complete tasks (People or machines) and on the other had a set of tasks that need to be completed. A matrix in between defines how quick each Entity can complete a task.
